John - you may want to try this instead of Picasa. Picture of that rambling rector on blog using blogger images rather than Picas. Alternatively try Flicka. Haven't tried it myself but do intend to have a look at it. N

The problem with 'blogger images' is that it's TOO FUCKING SLOW!!
Perhaps it's my laptop and not a general problem; but to post a photo diary like Paul's would take me (Roy) a whole day or more.
