here's one for you Paul, we came across this on our walk, near some jacobs ladder growing wild, it looks like a bluebell that hasn't come out yet, and you can see the spotted leaves. I wish I had another camera to take a picture of Roy contorting himself to try and take this picture!

Looks like Orchis mascula, the Early Purple Orchid. It'll be a cpouple of weeks earlier with you than with us here. love your pictures
